Forty eight hours in Abu Dhabi, done properly, holds more than most long weekends anywhere else. This short break is built for travellers who want the capital's essence without a wasted hour: you land, we collect you, and within the day you are standing beneath the eighty two domes of Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque before strolling the Corniche and the grand approach to Emirates Palace.
The second day trades marble for sand. After a leisurely morning you head into the dunes for an evening desert safari, returning under the stars with the taste of a barbecue dinner still lingering. If your flight allows, the final evening adds a dhow dinner cruise along the waterfront, the perfect last frame for a short, vivid visit.

Will 48 hours really be enough?
For a focused first taste, yes. You cover the Grand Mosque, the Corniche, the desert and an evening on the water. Many guests return later for the full week.
